This is an expression of the transitory nature of life and the futility of clinging to fluid things. It's all just traffic on time's highway. Some parts of the universe morph quickly, visibly, right before our eyes. Others—like grass, stars and opinions—move slower, but move they do. The rocks lining the river bank are also flowing; it’s just harder to catch them at it. That’s what we think this piece is about anyway but we may feel differently about it tomorrow. 

These wooden plates are created with acrylic paint on upcycled teak wood. They were all once part of a single large dining table.  

Each plate comes with four hooks at the back so you can orient them any way you like. Each piece weighs roughly 1.8 kg and measures 30cm(H) x 30cm(W) x 4cm(D).
